I'm Selling these British pub collectibles acquired while I was stationed in Scotland in the mid-60's and again in the early 80's. Some of the items pre-date my first stay in the 60's.

Plus some European Breweriana:

NOTE Most of these beer items are vintage collectibles and are in excellent, used condition - unless stated otherwise.

  Ceramic and Glass Ash Trays

Marston china ashtray by Royal Daulton - image

"Marston, Thompson & Evershed Ltd. (as of 1905), Burton-on-Trent". Porcelain, 4⅝" sq. made in England by Royal Doulton. Art Deco style that appears to be from the '20s or '30s. The firm is now called "Marston's Beer Company."  $20

Mugs & Glasses

British Railways half pint mug - image

London and North Eastern Railway momogram - imagePre-WWII era, 4½" half-pint mug from an old British railway station bar. On the front, it has a fancy "L.N.E.R." etched  monogram (at right) that stands for London and North Eastern Railway (est. 1923), and home to the "Flying Scotsman."
It has the "GR" etched below the Weights & Measure's crown - dating it from 1937. The National Railway Museum in York concurred that the mug was from the '30's. Also a Railwayana auction house appraised it at £30 to £40. Very good to Excellent cond. Rare.  $35
During the Second World War the railways were taken into state control, and the LNER ended after it became nationalized as part of British Railways on 1 Jan. 1948.

"Boddingtons" on a 7" imperial pint size glass. Nicknamed the "Cream of Manchester" it comes from Manchester in North west England.  $7

Set of four 6" tall, .2L, gold rimmed glasses from Germany: "Martisnbräu" - Markeidenfeld, Bavaria; "Westmark Bier"- Neuhaaren-Waldfeucht; "Löwenbräu Freiburg" - Baden-Württemberg; "Werner Brauerei" - Poppenhausen, Bavaria.  $25 set, or $7 ea.

Note: the stems are not bent - it's a camera lens effect.

"Brauerei Wagner - Betzensteein" with lion logo, from the Wagner Brewery (est. 1800) in Betzenstein, Bayern, Germany. The Brewery closed in 1980 but mug looks much older than that. Embossed on the side of this 4½" mug is its capacity of ".25L". Very good cond. $15

Prinstner Beer, stoneware pilsner -  image

Prinstner Beer coaster -  image
"Prinstner Bier - Beilngries" with red stag logo on a .5 liter, 9" tall, stoneware pilsner from Bavaria - made by the famous Wick-Werke factory. The brewery is Brauhaus Hirschberg which translates to Deer Mountain brewing house. It was privately owned by the Prinstner family, and was located in Beilngries, Bayern, Germany. It was est. 1678, and closed in 1982.
Very scarce, and in near mint condition.  $25      Qty. (1)
